The exhibition featured 24 local artists who teach graphic design and fine art classes at Parkland College. Their works mirror the broad spectrum of art courses available at the college.
Participating faculty artists: Cecilia Allen, Joanne Bales, Louis Ballard, Chris Berti, Lisa Costello, Marsha Daniels, Jennifer Gibas, Larry Gilbert, Lawrence Hamlin, John Havlik, Bryan Heaton, Steven Hudson, Julie Jacobs, Robert Laible, Donald Lake, Craig McMonigal, Melinda McIntosh, Jeffrey Nichols, Laura OíDDonnell, Denise Seif, Peggy Shaw, Phil Smith, Joan Stolz, and Paul Young.
The show not only allowed students at Parkland to see their art instructors' skills, but it also provided the college with an opportunity to showcase some of the talented people who teach here. The reception gave the community a chance to mingle with the art faculty and learn what has inspired the work they are exhibiting.
