Haven't yet completed your high school education? Need to improve your English-language skills? Parkland College is here to help you get on the career pathway. Whatever your starting point, Parkland offers free opportunities to you, from adult basic skills classes and English classes for non-native speakers to bridge programs that combine studying for your State of Illinois High School Diploma test with training for an entry-level, hands-on career. You can accomplish your goals through education; Parkland is here for your success.

Adult Basic Skills Classes

 

Eligible adults can improve their reading, writing, math, and technology skills to transition to high school equivalency preparation, a bridge or career pathways program, or entry-level employment. No matter your age or education level, it’s never too late to improve your skills!

Sometimes called “bridge” or "College and Career Readiness" classes, our free College Prep classes prepare students to pass college assessments or High School Equivalency tests to improve skills for success in college-level classes. College prep classes use the same textbooks as the college-level classes, so you get a head start for free.
