Parkland Pathway to Illinois

Parkland Pathway to Illinois is a program in which Illinois high school graduates or those that have received their GED in Illinois can begin college at Parkland and seamlessly transfer to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While preparing to transfer, participating students will be able to integrate their experience as full-time Parkland College students while utilizing resources and classes at Illinois.

The application for the Pathway program opens on February 15 on the U of I website with a priority date of March 15 and a final deadline of April 15.  Your Parkland degree seeking application should be completed by January 1 at Apply Now. The program only offers a fall start and priority is given to first-time college students.

Undesignated: LAS students are admitted to the Parkland Pathway to Illinois program as LAS Undesignated. At the time of transfer, students will be admitted to an LAS major chosen in consultation with an advisor.  Students must complete transfer pre-requisite courses and meet minimum GPA requirements in order to be admitted to certain majors in LAS.
