Welcome to the Parkland College Dean of Students’ Office!

Your student voice matters, and we are your ally throughout your Parkland College experience!

We strive to foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging campus environment by connecting you to a variety of departments, support services, and the Parkland College Student Handbook. Our digital student handbook serves as your next-steps guide, from your first days as a Parkland student to your walk across our commencement stage.

We understand that you may need some support immediately. Please feel free to contact the Dean of Students by visiting Room U242, calling 217/353-2048, or emailing deanofstudents@parkland.edu.

New in Fall 2024, the Dean of Students is leading the RISE Scholars program. RISE, which stands for Reaching Intellectual Success and Empowerment, aims to support underrepresented students, including Black and Latino students and those from other ethnic groups, through comprehensive and collaborative academic and social supports. This program is for incoming, full-time Parkland students.
