Graduation Information

Parkland College graduates students at the end of each semester (Summer, Fall, Spring).  To graduate a student must fill out a Petition to Graduate. Deadlines for Petition to Graduate for each semester are posted in Parkland’s yearly catalog

Once the Petition is received by Admissions the progress towards your degree or certificate will be evaluated and you will be notified.

There is only one Commencement Ceremony each year held in May. Graduates from the previous Fall Semester and potential graduates from the Spring and Summer Semesters, who graduate with an Associates or a Certificate of 30 hours or more are eligible to participate.
