Professional faculty counselors are available to help currently enrolled students at Parkland College deal with personal issues and make referrals to outside agencies when appropriate. Career development counseling is provided to assist students in the selection of career and educational goals. For individual assistance, stop by U267 or call 217/351-2461.
> Current students should call 217/351-2461 or stop by to schedule a 50-minute personal counseling appointment. Please state that you are requesting personal counseling when you speak with the front desk, and check in there when you come for your appointment. Login to my.parkland for more information. 

Did You Know?

Parkland's adult and continuing education program offers credit and noncredit courses that meet the needs of special populations within our district, such as teachers, businesspersons, retirees, and K-12 students.


Emergency Information

If there is a personal crisis or emergency, students will be seen as soon as possible. Professional faculty counselors are available from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. You may come to U267 or call 217/351-2461.

24-Hour Assistance:
If you need immediate assistance in case of medical or other emergencies, the Public Safety office at Parkland College is staffed 24 hours a day and can be reached at 217/351-2369. Public Safety officers are available to anyone on the campus — students, faculty or staff.
