Ace Your Job Interview - Workshop & Webinar
Employment Connections: SWFT is currently focused on making sure you are prepared to take advantage of career opportunities. The department is currently connecting with employers who are interested in you. Keep an eye out for email updates about jobs in your field. If you need assistance putting together resumes or cover letters, please set a career advising appointment here.
Ace Your Job Interview: This is a two-part webinar/live-workshop that will be facilitated by Dr. Valencia Moses. The goal is to assist you in identifying your strengths, learning how to self-assess from a skills standpoint, and being effective at highlighting your strengths and skills when you land an interview. Part I will be held on two dates (Sep. 29, 2020 | 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM CST - online webinar) (Oct. 1, 2020 | 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM CST - live workshop), with an option to choose the format that suits you best.
Part 2 will be an online webinar held on Oct. 6, 2020 | 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM CST.

- Read the confirmation email for your scheduled advising session for additional instructions
Remote advising sessions will take place using Microsoft Teams. You can access and use Microsoft Teams for free by visiting this website (https://teams.microsoft.com), or if you click here. Once there, you will log in using your Parkland email credentials. Advising sessions will be available at the time you schedule using Bookings. Live appointment availability will resume once students and faculty are able to return to the Parkland College campus.

The Center for Academic Success (CAS) has academic coaches, tutoring options, and other academic support resources available to you for free.
