Partnership Schools

Get credit for all your education!

While an associate’s degree from Parkland College will definitely help you to secure an entry job or move up in your professional career, more employers these days have a preference for hiring individuals with a bachelor’s degree. In some professions, a bachelor’s degree is what secures you an entry job.

Through the Illinois Articulation Agreement (IAI) and other innovative transfer agreements with four-year colleges and universities, our students and graduates can transfer seamlessly to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI)

The Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) is a statewide transfer agreement, which is transferable among more than 100 participating college or universities in Illinois. IAI works best for students who know they are going to transfer but undecided on the college or university that will grant their baccalaureate degree.

All colleges and universities participating in the IAI agree to accept a “package” of IAI general education courses in lieu of their own comparable lower-division general education requirements.

For more information, visit the  IAI website.
