Get your student ID in X161!

A free student ID card is available to all new Parkland students. Each student is responsible for obtaining his or her card. Present a picture ID (e.g., a state ID or driver's license) and proof of enrollment in classes to get your ID card. Your Parkland ID is valid each time you register and does not expire.

Your first ID card is free; however, you will be charged $5 per card for the first three replacements; four or more replacement cards cost $15 each (billed to your account).

Use your Parkland ID for:

  • identification requests
  • student loan, grant, or employment check pickup
  • computer lab use
  • library materials/equipment loans
  • business/financial aid transactions
  • voting in student elections/running for office
  • free admission to athletic events
  • Parkland Theatre/Staerkel Planetarium ticket discounts
  • discount rates on field trips and tours
  • entry to the Fitness Center and some Physical Education classes
  • petition to graduate
  • book buy-back at the Parkland Bookstore
  • certain licensing or assessment tests
  • cashing a $10 personal check at the Business Office (25-cent fee)
