The one-way cash fare is $1. An Annual Pass, valid for a full year, is $84 and a Monthly Pass, valid from the first day of a month through the last, is $20. The Parkland College Bookstore sells gift certificates for the Annual Pass and Monthly Pass. Eligible students can purchase the bus pass certificate using their Financial Aid funds. Passes can be obtained at MTD's Illinois Terminal, 45 East University Avenue in Champaign.

MTD Maps and Schedules books are available in the Office of Student Life in Room U111, onboard buses, or at Illinois Terminal. The MTD website at cumtd.com has rider tools including Bus Stop Lookup, Trip Planner, MyRIDE subscription service, an App Garage, and a complete list of all maps and schedules.  You can contact MTD for assistance any time buses are operating at 217/384.8188.

A variety of routes with dedicated bicycle lanes lead to Parkland. The League of Illinois Bicyclists and ChampaignCountyBikes.org created a map of Champaign-Urbana identifying suggested bicycle travel routes.

Once on campus, bicyclists will find secure bicycle racks in a variety of locations.

Also, MTD buses are equipped with bicycle racks to deliver you and your bike to your destination if the weather turns ugly or you suffer a flat tire. Leery of using the bus bike racks for the first time? MTD offers a handy tutorial .

Carpooling students and visitors can use the priority carpool spaces marked in several of Parkland’s parking lots. Look for the carpool parking signs.

Need transportation only occasionally? The Zipcar car-sharing program has vehicles throughout Champaign and Urbana for hourly use by members.

Plug-in electric vehicles can recharge on the Parkland campus at the charging station at the Applied Technology Center (Building T). Two dedicated parking spaces accompany the recharge station to allow for sequential charging.
