Actors' Studio Production Auditions


To be considered for a Parkland College Theatre Production, you must agree to abide by the Parkland College Theatre Letter of Agreement. Please read the agreement before coming to auditions. You will be asked to sign your audition form, stating that you have read and understand the agreement. If you have questions, please ask Theatre Director Brian D. Morgan (bdmorgan@parkland.edu).

Spring 2024 Auditions

December 1, 2023, 6:30 – 8:30 pm 
Check-in at the Parkland Theatre Box Office 

Callbacks will be held Saturday, December 2 beginning at 4:30 pm. You will be contacted on Friday evening by the director or stage manager if you are needed for a callback.

Silent Sky

Casting 4 female-presenting and 1 male-presenting actors of any background/ethnicity. Auditions for Silent Sky are open to Parkland College students only. Students from all academic areas are encouraged to audition, Parkland Theatre encourages diversity.

Please review and prepare from the below-listed acting sides.

Additionally, actors wanting to be considered for the role of Margaret should prepare a verse of a traditional hymn of their choice, to be sung simply as in church. Examples (but not limited to): Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee, Make Me a Channel of Your Peace, Faith of our Fathers, Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow, or a non-secular ballad, carol, or folk song. Singing during the show will be acapella.
