Parkland is home to the Harold and Jean Miner Theatre and the Second Stage. These spaces provide a home for Parkland Theatre Productions and a training facility for actors and theatre technicians. Each venue features state-of-the-art professional technical equipment in lighting and sound.
Our lobby, with multiple entrances, provides easy accessibility to our venues. The lobby also serves as a flexible reception area.
The Harold and Jean Miner Theatre
is a proscenium theatre with seating for over 300, providing a beautiful setting for music and theatre productions. These shows range from comedies to Broadway-style musicals. This venue is the home of Parkland College Theatre productions.
Parkland Theatre's Second Stage
is a black box style theater. It is an adaptable, basic performance space where seating can be arranged in a variety of ways. This allows for the creative needs of the performance or event to be met. The Second Stage is available for meetings, speeches, lectures, live music, dance, and other events. Seating capacity is approximately 100 people.
