Our police officers enforce all rules, regulations and laws, of the college, the state of Illinois, and with mutual consent, ordinance violations of the City of Champaign. Our department enforces all traffic laws, criminal violations, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, and any weapons violations.
Our officers have met all the training requirements and have been commissioned by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board, and have been granted all the rights and privileges as conservators of the peace as outlined by state statute.
Our force also includes an uniformed non-police security patrol. This patrol observes and reports an unusual activity to the Campus Police assisting in crime prevention and apprehension of violators.Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
