Join a First Year Learning Community.
Parkland offers support groups called First Year Communities for first-year college students with similar goals. The community group takes the same classes at the same time, study together, and have fun together at Parkland sponsored social activities like movie nights and barbeques. Teachers and advisors will be on hand to offer extra help with your studies and career guidance.
