TEAS Test of Essential Academic Skills for Parkland Nursing program applicants only
 (Note: taking the TEAS does not guarantee acceptance into the nursing program.)

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is required for Parkland College Nursing Program applicants to asses skills in four academic areas: reading, math, science, and English language usage.

TEAS testing is offered most Mondays - Thursdays at 9:30 am in the Parkland College Assessment Center (Room U 203) during the months of August, September, January, and February.
 
Candidates need to create an account at https://www.atitesting.com, the link to create an account is located below the username and password text boxes.
 
Click on the Register for TEAS link, located below the username and password text boxes, and navigate the link and you will find Parkland College as a testing location.
 
Results are available immediately and will indicate scores in each area plus give you a composite (average) score.

The maximum number of times that any student can take the TEAS for admission purposes is twice during a twelve-month period.

If you are testing prior to August 31, 2016 you will need take the TEAS V exam. 
 
If you are testing on or after August 31, 2016 you will study for the ATI TEAS test. The sixth edition TEAS Study manual can be purchased at https://www.atitesting.com 
 
No calculators are allowed for TEAS.

All test-takers are required to show a valid photo ID that includes a signature.
