Proctoring Services The Assessment Center offers proctoring services for students who need to have an authorized individual administer and supervise an exam under secure conditions.

For most proctored testing, all testing materials must be sent to the Assessment Center before an appointment can be made.

Appointments are required for exam proctoring and cannot be made the desired day of the appointment. Please contact the Assessment Center via email at  assessmentcenter@parkland.edu or call 217-351-2432 to make an appointment.

Appointments can be made 24 hours in advance after all of the required testing materials have been delivered to the Assessment Center. Appointments cannot be scheduled until the Assessment Center has the exam on site if it is a pencil/paper exam or the proper proctoring instructions/passwords if it is an online exam.

If there are any forms that we would need to complete, send them to assessmentcenter@parkland.edu with notes explaining what is needed.

We ascribe to the policies and standards of the National College Testing Association (NCTA). These include the need to verify the identity of every test-taker, to keep all testing materials secure, and to administer exams under conditions that are conducive for every test-taker to perform to the best of his or her ability.  All individuals are required to show a valid photo ID (such as a driver’s license) and to follow all Assessment Center rules (such as turning off and turning in your cell phone and any other electronic devices).

Parkland College is also an approved Accuplacer and ALEKS Remote testing site. Parkland College Accuplacer and ALEKS remote testing administration fee is $25.

All other proctored tests have a fee of $25.
