The Assessment Center offers proctoring services for students who need to have an authorized individual administer and supervise an exam under secure conditions. If you are a Parkland student taking a course for Parkland credit, there is no fee for this service. If you are taking a exam for another institution, there is a $15 test fee.
We ascribe to the policies and standards of the National College Testing Association (NCTA). These include the need to verify the identity of every test-taker, to keep all testing materials secure, and to administer exams under conditions that are conducive for every test-taker to perform to the best of his or her ability. All individuals are required to show a valid photo ID (such as a driver’s license) and to follow all Assessment Center rules (such as turning off and turning in your cell phone and any other electronic devices).
Visit the
COMPASS Remote Testing site for more information. Parkland College COMPASS remote testing administration fee is $30.
