Constitution Test

The Constitution Exam assesses knowledge of the U.S. Constitution, Declaration of Independence, State of Illinois Constitution, and the Flag Code.
Do I have to take the test?
The state of Illinois requires that individuals pass the Constitution Exam to graduate from high school or receive a GED Certificate.
Test Preparation:
A study guide is available online Constitution Study Guide.
Schedule an appointment:
Call  the Parkland College Assessment Center at 217/351-2432, after taking the GED Tests.
Test Results:
The Constitution test is scored by the Illinois Community College Board through the Cook County High School and usually takes a week or two to get the results.
The test is scored pass/fail.
Retest Policy:
Retest (if necessary) should be scheduled with the Assessment Center.
