more bang for your buck

Our auto students take single classes for personal interest, enroll full time to pursue a new career, and some are racing enthusiasts enrolled in our motorsport technology concentration. Career-driven students who earn the Associate in Applied Science in Automotive Technology from Parkland are eligible to transfer to SIUC’s automotive program under a 2+2 agreement.

Full-time students should expect to enroll in 16-17 credit hours per semester with tuition totaling approximately $3,000 per semester for in-district students. Out-of-district students whose home community college does not offer an automotive or motorsport program may attend Parkland at in-district tuition by simply completing the Career Agreement process. Freshmen should budget about $400 for textbooks and required supplies.
