Occupations in Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning are expected to grow rapidly, and the education to get started is affordable and high quality at Parkland. Students have several program options. Start with the two-semester HVAC Installation Technician Certificate that prepares you for entry-level work replacing existing HVAC units in residential and commercial facilities. Add one more semester to complete the HVAC Service Technician Certificate to learn troubleshooting. Our two-year associate in applied science degree prepares graduates for EPA refrigerant certification, in addition to replacing and troubleshooting HVAC units.
