Hey everyone! My show “Backyard Talks” airs every Thursday Afternoon from 1:00-3:00 pm. On Backyard Talks we discuss the problems and struggles that college students face. The show will also be covering news and sports. Besides talking about plans for my show outside of school, I like hanging out my friends and being social in general. I am also a big sports guy, so I love watching and playing sports for fun.

I left school years ago without a degree to pursue a career in the music industry. Because of that decision, I now own the See You CD & Vinyl record store. With the help of one of my customers I am back in school pursuing a degree!
Film has always been a passion of mine. I collect not only vinyl records, but also Laserdiscs. Hosting "The Laser Hour" each week gives me a great outlet to spread the gospel of the greatest forgotten home video format.

The cowboy strolled across the arid desert, searching...
Water soon became an issue as he could feel sweat pouring out of him. He then started hallucinating. Envisioning a forest around him, the cowboy stumbled down a massive hill and twisted his ankle, landing on his back. As he looked to the sky he saw buzzards circling above.   "So, this is how it ends, this is how I die... in search of the perfect guitar tone."

Forged in the fires of hades, tempered in the sands of time, and plunged into a strip club toilet on shrimp night. He's not the DJ you asked for, but he showed up almost on time with most of his equipment. He'll give you the shirt off his back, but don't put it on. It's gross, and it's probably a distraction to steal your place in line. Ugh. Who gave this guy a radio show?

Maggie O'Brien

What's up everyone? I've found a love of radio and voice acting here at Parkland and I'm always excited to share my work when I can. I'm a huge nerd so I love geeking out whenever I get the chance. My show is sort of an outlet for that. I cover movies and videogames with in depth reviews as well as spotlighting cool local events and news. Tune in 88.7 WPC for MadGab with Maggie every Thursday at 3pm!

Hey there, I love most, if not all things media. I'm an avid music listener, gamer, and weirdo. I'm also an extremely shy WPCD DJ with a show on Sundays from 8-10 PM. I try to focus my content on various subgenres of extreme music, along with a sprinkling of your usual radio content. If you like anything from sludge metal to hardcore to something as niche as sassgrind, tune in to 88.7 and support me and the other fantastic student DJ's.
