: Ireland Agriculture Tour
Study in Ireland – August 3-12, 2013
Earn 3 credit hours with AGB 192: International Field Experience in Agriculture
Farm visits to organic dairy, beef, sheep, horse/pony, vegetables, peat, wheat, barley, sugar beets, Irish National Stud, and Japanese gardens.
Sightseeing to Kylemore Abbey, Cliffs of Moher, Clonmacnoise, Ring of Kerry, Blarney Castle, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Library at Trinity College.
Program fee: $2,550
Program includes airfare, lodging, ground transportation, tour fees, breakfast and dinner. Payment can be made through the
Nelnet
payment plan.
Deadlines
A $300 deposit and completed application are due May 3, 2013.
Eligibility
Participants must:
Have a passport
Be 18 years of age or older
Be in good standing with Parkland College
Demonstrate college-level reading, writing, and math skills
Be prepared and motivated for a cross-cultural experience
Provide proof of insurance

Participant Eligibility
Student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours, including ENG 101, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75.
