Parkland offers three types of study abroad.

Long and medium term programs
endorsed by the
Illinois Consortium for International Studies and Programs (ICISP) and provide Parkland College credit. Travel opportunities have included: France, England, Costa Rica, Austria, Spain, Japan, Germany, and China. See our current study abroad programs.

Global studies learning communities.
These are Parkland courses that include a study abroad component. Taught by Parkland faculty, these are an excellent way to learn about another culture through firsthand experience.

Participant Eligibility

Student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours, including ENG 101, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75.

Download the Study Abroad Packet, print, and complete the forms according the checklist provided. Submit your application to:
