State Universities Annuitants Association (SUAA)

SURS administers your benefits - SUAA advocates for these on your behalf.

SUAA represents all state university and community college retirees and current employees for matters pertaining to Retirement Benefits. To Protect Your Future Retirement benefits, become a member of SUAA today. Annual dues are affordable.  PCAA is our local Chapter of SUAA.

History:
SUAA can trace its beginnings back to 1971. SUAA successfully lobbied to establish the level of retirement benefits that current retirees enjoy, including the constitutionally mandated three percent annual increase for annuity payments.  SUAA also played a significant role in establishing health insurance for annuitants.

What can you do?
Become a member.  SUAA membership currently stands at about 15,000 persons; but to be more effective in lobbying, we need to DOUBLE our memberships.  Annual dues are affordable.
