Middle School Students Invited to Explore Parkland College Health Professions Careers

Guests will explore real health career labs, classrooms, and more

Area sixth- through eighth-grade students and their parents are invited to explore a variety of Parkland College Health Professions programs at the Career Exploration Experience on Saturday, November 15.

During this free, interactive event from 10 a.m. to noon, guests will explore real health career labs, classrooms, and equipment used in Parkland programs. Parkland Health Professions faculty and support staff will be on hand to answer questions and share insights about health-related careers. Parents interested in exploring new career paths are also encouraged to attend.

Note: This workshop involves active student participation. A safety and photo release is required for each student and must be turned in no later than the morning of the event.

Students can register for the event by Monday, November 10 at parkland.edu/register. Space is limited. Register early to secure a spot.

Check-in will be located at the Parkland Student Union.
