Kevin Hart has performed extensively as a jazz vibraphonist, pianist, and drummer throughout the Midwest. His stylistically eclectic "The Road to Everywhere" and the Latin flavored "Corazon" cds feature the playing and writing talents of some of the finest musicians in the region. These recordings have also enjoyed radio airplay throughout the country and beyond.

Kevin's recordings and performances as a sideman include Bob Washut trio, Dave Hoffman, Jane Hartman trio, the Illinois Jazz Orchestra, the Beatniks, Jake Hertzog, Joe Metzka, and Sam Crain to name a few. Other performances with regional treasures include Orbert Davis, Zach Broch, Bobby Broom, Don Heitler, Ron Bridgewater, Jeff Helgesen, and Rachael Lee. He has also performed on drums with well-known artists including Jack McDuff, Steve Turre, Henry Butler, Jerry Bergonzi, Terrell Stafford, Jeff Newell, and Rufus Reid.
As a college student, Kevin received a Downbeat student award, and performed with many legendary jazz musicians including Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry, Ed Thigpen, Bob Berg, Bobby Shew, and Louis Bellson. In addition to Parkland College, Kevin is also an instructor at Illinois State University, and Knox College.
