Kerry Bean has been teaching Theatre and Communication Arts since his graduate student days. He has an MA in both fields, an MDiv in theological studies, and has an ABD from the University of Minnesota in Theatre History. He is in the process of publishing two collections of plays, including a trilogy of readers’ theatre murder mysteries. Kerry has written, acted, designed, and directed for the educational and community stages. Most recently he designed the sets and lighting for a high school production of Beauty and the Beast. His current project is writing a play tentatively titled Death by Committee Meeting: Robert’s Rules of Murder. When not teaching at Parkland, Kerry serves as Pastor of a local church.
