Study for a month in the summer in the historic and hi-tech city of Hyderabad, India. Hyderabad is located in the south-central part of India, in the state of Telangana. A city of around 7 million people, this “city of pearls”, rich in historical sites from the times of the Nizams and Qtub Shahi rulers, is a vibrant, modern, economic and technological hub in India. This program is offered through a partnership with Oakton Community College and the English and Foreign Languages University.
What You'll Study
You will take two courses (6 credits) on Indian life, culture, and history while in India, both taught in English. Specific course offerings will change slightly each year.
You will have the opportunity to participate in several excursions, including a weekend trip to the Ajanta and Ellora caves in Maharashtra, and a variety of local field trips, which are all included in the cost. An optional trip to New Delhi and Agra (the Taj Mahal) may be planned as well (not included in the program cost) based on your interests.
Housing is in an air conditioned international dormitory (double occupancy with two rooms sharing a bathroom) with free Wi-Fi access and a full meal plan is included.

Student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours, including ENG 101, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75.
