Parkland College to Host Digital Media Workshop in November

Digital Media Workshop on Friday, November 7 for high school students

Career and Community Engagement at Parkland College will host a Digital Media Workshop on Friday, November 7 for area high school and home school students.

In this free, hands-on workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of modeling and digital sculpting for 3D animation and games. Students will experience hands-on learning with industry standard 3D software taught by an experienced 3D modeling professional.

Participating students can check-in at 8:45 a.m. outside of room D207 on the second floor of the D wing at Parkland’s main campus. The workshop runs from 9 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. Snacks are provided.

Note: There is a 24-student capacity. Please RSVP by Monday, November 3.

This workshop requires active student participation. A safety and photo release is required for each student and must be turned in no later than the morning of the event.
