Parkland College Health Profession to Host Free Career Exploration

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Parkland College Health Professions will host a free career-exploration event for sixth- to eighth-grade students and their parents. 

The Health Professions Career Exploration will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 10 a.m. to noon at Parkland College on Mattis, 1309 N. Mattis Ave., in Champaign. 

Students will experience hands-on health career labs, classrooms, and program equipment during the event. Health Professions faculty and support services staff will be available to answer questions. This event also provides an excellent opportunity for parents considering a career change to explore Parkland's Health Professions programs. 

Attendees will enjoy refreshments and may enter giveaways for Community Education summer youth camp, Staerkel Planetarium tickets, and more.
