Youth Art Contest Announces Winners Winners and honorable mentions announced for Community Education and Giertz Gallery's art competition Wednesday, March 17, 2021 Landa | 0 Community Education and Giertz Gallery have announced the winners for their first ever Celebrate the Arts! Youth Art Contest. The juried competition was featured in an online Zoom webinar on March 9 during which student artwork was displayed and placements were named. First place winners (out of 115 participants) in the three age categories received a full scholarship to a Parkland summer camp. Degree Completion Day might be an easy way to make your schedule for the rest of your college journey through student planning. Whether you're "so close" to your certificate or new to campus, this event is for you: Counseling Services advisors will be available to check your progress. Perimeter Road Music Festival Arts and Sciences, Automotive, Campus Life, Clubs and Organizations, Community Engagement, Fine and Applied Arts, Music Perimeter Road Music Festival Enjoy great music acts from across Champaign-Urbana May 4 Monday, April 8, 2019 Anonym | 0 Perimeter Road Sound Recordings, the student-staffed music record label here at Parkland College, is hosting the first-ever annual Perimeter Road Music Festival this May 4th! This free-admission, all-ages event is packed with great music acts from across Champaign-Urbana as well as featured artists signed to our record label, Perimeter Road Sound Recordings. In conjunction with the annual Parkland Motorsport Club Car Show, the Perimeter Road Music Festival will have a variety of food trucks to keep festival goers happy and well-fed. In addition, booths and tables hosted by various student-run clubs and organizations will be nearby, allowing anyone visiting the festival to learn more about what Parkland College has to offer. The festival will take place from noon to 7 pm Saturday, May 4 in the Parkland College B1 parking lot.
