Parkland College to Host Women of Impact Scholarship Celebration, Selection
Women of Impact scholarships are open to current and potential Parkland College students
Parkland College will host the annual Women of Impact Scholarship Celebration and Selection on Tuesday, June 24, from 5–7 p.m. at Parkland's Student Union.
Parkland Women of Impact is a grassroots giving circle of compassionate, diverse, and influential women dedicated to helping students at Parkland College through scholarship support. The Women of Impact build a stronger community to keep individuals stepping towards their goals and dreams through gifts of support, spreading the word, and attendance at the marquee event.
Their efforts create a ripple effect of stronger individuals, families, workplaces, and communities.
Women of Impact scholarships are open to current and potential Parkland College students, and each $2,000 award is split between semesters. Recipients are selected at the awards event and are invited to attend future Women of Impact events.
Parkland Women of Impact membership begins with a minimum gift of just $100. Additionally, gifts of $500 or more are recognized as part of the Parkland College Foundation President's Circle. 100% of donations are tax deductible and will be directed to the Parkland Women of Impact Scholarship Fund.
Attendees will review Women of Impact scholarship applicants and participate in selecting recipients. Visit parkland.edu/womenofimpact by June 20 to make a gift and RSVP.
