*  Great Teachers - This retreat will be a mini version of the well-known Great Teachers Retreat.15 faculty members from Parkland will join 15 faculty members from Heartland Community College for a day of reflection, sharing and celebrating teaching and learning.
"Practical and focused small group activities; one of the best small group experiences ever (and that’s in 23 years of teaching)"
"Great idea to connect with colleagues at a different college; the opportunities to talk with other teachers about ideas and problems on a day in a place devoted to that; I really like the combination of topics and chance to present and to talk informally"
