Parkland Pathway to Illinois

 
 
Parkland Pathway to Illinois is a program in which qualified students can begin college at Parkland and seamlessly transfer to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While preparing to transfer, participating students will be able to integrate their experience as full-time Parkland College students while utilizing resources and classes at Illinois.

              Undesignated: LAS students are admitted to the Parkland Pathway to Illinois program as LAS Undesignated. At the time of transfer, students will be admitted to an LAS major chosen in consultation with an advisor.  Students must complete transfer pre-requisite courses and meet minimum GPA requirements in order to be admitted to certain majors in LAS. LAS majors can be found at www.las.illinois.edu/students/programs/majors.

              Parkland students who are not part of the Pathway Program are encouraged to apply to the University of Illinois through the regular transfer admission process. Students interested in transferring into one of Illinois’  degree programs are encouraged to attend Parkland College and work with Parkland Counseling & Advising on a transfer plan. The University of Illinois Transfer Handbook (www.transferhandbook.illinois.edu) and Illinois’ Office of Undergraduate Admissions are also useful resources.
