Want to be an RN? Don't delay in getting your CNA credentials!

New Application Requirement for Nursing Program:
Effective spring semester 2013, our registered nursing program will require all nursing applicants to be Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or to have completed an Illinois Department of Public Health-approved CNA course.
 
You are eligible to take the Illinois CNA exam if you:
  1. have completed an Illinois Department of Public Health-approved course; OR
  2. have completed comparable course work plus 40 hours of supervised clinical experience in an accredited nursing program; OR
  3. have completed a U.S. Military certificate documenting comparable course work plus 40 hours of supervised clinical experience.
