New Application Requirement for Nursing Program:
Our registered nursing program requires all nursing applicants to be Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or to have completed an Illinois Department of Public Health-approved CNA course.
You are eligible to take the Illinois CNA exam if you:
- have completed an Illinois Department of Public Health-approved course; OR
- have completed comparable course work plus 40 hours of supervised clinical experience in an accredited nursing program; OR
- have completed a U.S. Military certificate documenting comparable course work plus 40 hours of supervised clinical experience.
