Design Facilities

The visual communication design program uses a fully-equipped Macintosh computer lab with 20 workstations. The classroom is equipped with high-speed internet connections, an LCD projector, the latest version of the Adobe Creative Suite and over 2,000 professional fonts.

Parkland College has a total of 60 fully-equipped Macintosh workstations in three rooms for students to use. Students are able to use the computer labs whenever there are no classes scheduled. Entry to open lab is by specially programmed card keys issued to registered students.

Fine and Applied Arts is home to a variety of exceptional facilities designed to give our students quality hands-on, educational opportunities. In addition to our traditional classroom facilities, FAA students have opportunities to learn and work in the following venues and media areas.
