Welcome to our showcase of student work with hundreds of creative portfolio samples to peruse, examine and enjoy. Organized into five galleries, you'll see examples of traditional print projects, branding solutions, a wide range of illustration styles, dynamic motion sequences, a variety of websites, animation and digital media projects. In addition, we've also collected 10 years of student exhibition catalogs for you to browse.
The Creative Process
Parkland's Graphic Design & Interactive Design programs are centered around a hands-on project-based curriculum where student work is critiqued multiple times and refined until they meet industry standards. In all of our studio classes, students utilize a creative process that requires research, exploration, testing and becoming power users of the latest Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Each project has a designated client and a clear marketing or communication objective. Evidence of design principles must be visible in the final design and students must verbally justify their design decisions. Students are graded based on creativity, visual communication, craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. These examples showcase the quality of work that is expected from Parkland students in the Graphic Design and Interactive Design programs.
