Program Requirements
In order to successfully obtain a CDL, individuals must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and drug screening. Learners must be able to read and write the English language. Additional requirements are listed below:
- 18 years or older
- Must meet DOT medical requirements
- Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license
- Must have a certified birth certificate OR provide proof of legal residency
- Must provide a copy of their court version Motor Vehicle Record (Driver's Abstract)
- No outstanding tickets or child support
- Felonies and misdemeanors are evaluated on a case by case basis
*High school diploma or GED is not required to obtain your CDL
