Parkland Trustees Name New VP of Administrative Services, CFO
At its regular meeting Wednesday, the Parkland College Board of Trustees named Amie Loyd as the new Vice President for Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer, beginning June 9.
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — At its regular meeting Wednesday, the Parkland College Board of Trustees named Amie Loyd as the new Vice President for Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer, beginning June 9.
Loyd has nearly 20 years of administrative experience in higher education, most recently serving as the Director of Finance and Administration in the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In this role, she oversaw all administrative functions for CITL, including the business office and financial reporting, information technology, facilities and operations, as well as supervising the Instructional Support and Training and Project Management teams and serving as the CITL liaison to the shared services HR office.
In her new role as Vice President for Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer, Loyd will provide executive leadership for Parkland College's business operations, campus technologies, human resources, and physical plant. Christopher Randles has served in the role since 2009. The board approved an amended contract for Randles to spend his final year at the college as Senior Vice President for Administrative Services to support the leadership transition in this key area, effective through June 30, 2026.
Trustees also voted on employment contracts for two other college administrators, renewing three-year contracts for Nancy A. Sutton, vice president for academic services, and Michael Trame, vice president for student services, effective through June 30, 2028.
