Parkland College Student Artists Chosen for Statewide Exhibit

ICCJE celebrates the creative work of young artists

Several Parkland College Art students were accepted into the 2019 Illinois Community College Juried Exhibition. 

The works were on display in the Visual Arts Gallery at Governors State University in University Park, Illinois, Feb. 13–March 2. Participating students were:

Kayla McEvoy, Sadorus (2 Honorable Mentions)
Catherine White, Champaign
Logan Ingold, Champaign
Kenneth Levi Neff, Paxton
Stephen Kaufman, Urbana
Ray Irani, Champaign
Chris Johns, Champaign
Najma Motan, Champaign

This annual juried exhibition celebrates the creative work of young artists. Works selected for this year's exhibit were completed between Dec. 1, 2018 and Jan. 30, 2019. More than $1,000 in awards, including a $400 Best in Show Award, were presented during a closing reception at the gallery March 2.
