Parkland College to Host Surgical Technology Career Open House

Guests interested in healthcare can tour the updated mock operating room and speak with faculty

Health Professions at Parkland College will host a free Surgical Technology career exploration open house during National Surgical Technologist Week.

On Wednesday, September 24, guests interested in healthcare can tour the updated mock operating room and educational spaces from 4–6 p.m. in B124. The open house is also an opportunity to learn more about the surgical technology profession and opportunities Parkland’s program has to offer.

Those who attend the free event can expect to see demonstrations and hands-on activities related to the program. Faculty will be available during the open house to answer all questions about the program. Refreshments will also be provided.
