Parkland College CTE to Host FREE Computer Science Event
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Parkland College Career and Technical Education will host a FREE computer science experience featuring various computer technologies for area high school students.
WHAT: Free Computer Science Workshop
WHO: High School Students, Parkland College CTE Instructors
WHERE: Parkland College, 2400 W Bradley Ave., Champaign
WHEN: Friday, December 1, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
DETAILS: The workshop includes:
- sessions in 3D Computer Animation, Computer Networks, PC Maintenance, Hardware Computer Programming, and Audio Production.
- tour of Parkland College's campus
- lunch and a Parkland swag bag
- hospitality room for teachers and chaperones
