"Blithe Spirit" Comes to Harold and Jean Miner Theatre

An all-time favorite with dark humor, "Blithe Spirit" at theatre Feb. 16-26

Blithe Spirit, written by Noël Coward and directed by Abby Gailey, comes to the Parkland College Harold and Jean Miner Theatre February 16-26.   
  
Blithe Spirit follows frustrated novelist Charles Condomine and his wife, Ruth, as they host a seance in their home in hopes of conjuring up some inspiration for Charles's new book. Instead, they accidentally conjure the ghost of Elvira Condomine—Charles's first wife—who is not particularly pleased that she must compete for his attention. An all-time favorite, Blithe Spirit has delighted audiences around the world with its witty banter and dark humor.  
 
Abby Gailey directs a cast that includes Ranae Wilson, Chelsea Collier, Douglas Malcolm, Ed Pierce, Kimmy Schofield, Susan Curtis, and Tina Radi.
    
Performances take place in the Parkland Harold and Jean Miner Theatre February 16, 17, 18, 24, and 25 at 7:30 p.m. and February 19 and 26 at 3 p.m. 
 
This show is rated teen for adult language and adult content.
  
Tickets are Adult, $20; Student/Youth/Senior/Veteran, $18; and Group (10 or more), $16. Opening night is half the price of an adult ticket, at $10. To purchase tickets, visit tickets.parkland.edu.
