Drive-Through Voter Registration Event at Parkland

Oct. 10 event by League of Women Voters, Phi Theta Kappa

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Parkland College will host a Drive-Through Voter Registration Event sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa and the League of Women Voters on Monday, October 10, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the William M. Staerkel Planetarium circle drive.

The League of Women Voters of Champaign County is partnering with Parkland College's Phi Theta Kappa honor society chapter to make voter registration easy! Residents can register at Parkland College from the comfort of their car. Drive up (or walk up) to the planetarium circle drive and complete a registration form. Registrants will need to have their driver's license or state ID number or the last four digits of their Social Security Number. Non-registered voters born on or before Nov. 8, 2004, are eligible to register. Voter registration cards will be mailed to homes in time for the November election.

Time is running out for those not registered to vote! The general election is Tuesday, November 8, less than a month away. Every voice matters.
