Students attending another college or university (concurrent students) must follow our application process to take transfer credit classes at Parkland. If you are a degree seeking student at another college, please apply to Parkland as a non-degree seeking student. Follow the steps below and feel free to call us at 217/351-2482 if you have any questions.

Step 1: Submit an application
  • Online
    Complete and submit an online application.
  • Or by mail or fax
    Please type or print this application form and mail it to Admissions and Records, Parkland College, 2400 West Bradley Avenue, Champaign, IL 61821-1899 or fax it to 217/353-2640.
  • Or in person
    Stop by the Office of Admissions and Records in room U214.
Step 2: Wait for a letter of acceptance
You should receive a letter of acceptance to Parkland within a week.  Call our admissions office at 217/351-2482 if you have any questions.
 
Step 3: Seek advice from your college counselor to make sure Parkland classes will transfer to your college.

Step 4: Send the following information to our Admissions office
(U214; 217/351-2482 or email admissions@parkland.edu for further instructions.)
Step 5: Assessment -  If you do not have eligible college credit or appropriate ACT or SAT scores, you may need to take assessment tests in reading, writing skills, and mathematics before registering for classes.

Step 7: Registration
  • Log in to my.parkland 
  • Select the Registration link from the WebAdvisor tab on the upper left side of the page

Step 8. Pay for classes
Call the business office at 217/351-2233 if you have any questions.
