Dental Hygiene AAS

What you’ll do:
Prepare for a career as a Registered Dental Hygienist, with hands-on training in up-to-date labs, classrooms, and clinics. You must have strong interpersonal skills, good manual dexterity, and a genuine interest in a diverse population of people. You'll learn to provide such clinical services as oral examinations, oral hygiene instruction, radiographs, dental cleanings, pit and fissure sealants, teeth bleaching, infection control and sterilization, and local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation.

Where you’ll go:
With our excellent reputation and connections to the health industry, the Dental Hygiene program is fully accredited and will prepare you for transfer, licensing exams, or whatever you need to move ahead in your career. You'll work in private practice, long-term care facilities, and state and public health departments.
