What you’ll do:
Learn to program, operate, service, and maintain modern manufacturing systems and processes. The AAS degree, with concentrations in Machine tool/CNC programming, Industrial Maintenance/Automation, Computer Aided Drafting, and Welding, provides paid internship experiences with Parkland's industrial partners, giving you an inside look at the manufacturing environment and what is expected of a skilled technician. The AS degree gives you a strong base upon which you can complete a bachelor's degree in manufacturing/industrial technology upon transfer to a 4-year institution.

You may also choose to transfer your credits to 4-year institutions offering bachelor's degrees in industrial, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering technologies, among other fields.
