Equine Management AAS
Equine Management Certificate

What you’ll do:
The Equine Management program includes both an AAS degree and a certificate that help you prepare for entry-level positions in the growing equine industry. About 25% of our AAS graduates transfer to a university for a bachelor's degree. You’ll get a practical, hands-on education; internships that help you apply what you learn in classes; and opportunities to network with others in the equine industry. Parkland has a number of local stable owners who cooperate with our program and instructors, so you can learn practical skills in a real horse business environment.

Where you’ll go:
Equine careers are available in many locations, but more jobs are available in more populous states, particularly in the western and southern U.S. Jobs range from riding instructor, barn manager, breeding manager, trainer, and therapeutic riding for the disabled.
