What you’ll do:
Learn to install, operate, and troubleshoot the components, circuits, and computer controlled systems that are used in consumer products, manufacturing, and process and automation equipment. You'll gain a broad knowledge of electronic principles and devices, control system technology, and microprocessor-based control systems by experiencing hands-on applications in constructing and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems. Our program maintains up-to-date lab equipment and our course material, and lab exercises are continually reviewed for applications in the job market.

Where you’ll go:
After successfully completing the program, you can expect to find employment as an installer, technician, or service representative in manufacturing, sales, and customer service. If you wish to further your education at Southern Illinois University using the Capstone transfer option, we encourage you to take MAT 124 instead of MAT 134.
