Bonnie B. Kelley

Ms. Kelley has been a member of the Parkland Board of Trustees since 1984 and served as Board Chairman from 2002-2005. She is President of Kelley Wilbert Vault Company and Kelley Crematory of Urbana and Danville, Illinois.

Bonnie is active on many committees, some of which are past Vice Chair of the Champaign-Urbana Convention and Visitors Bureau/Economic Development, Past Chair of the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce, member of Champaign Rotary Club, the Krannert Performing Arts Marquee Council, and formerly a member of the board of the Junior League of Champaign-Urbana.

Bonnie is a graduate of the University of Illinois where she received a bachelor degree in biology and master degree in education. She taught part time at Parkland before being elected to the board. She was on the Cremation Association of North America board. She also is credited for writing the first book on cremation.

Bonnie has assisted Parkland in strengthening Parkland's relationship with the business community. Ms. Kelley has spoken at many women’s forums, as well as being an advocate for women’s issues and women in business.

Ms. Kelley has two grown children and six grandchildren and loves to travel.
